New Zealand Freestyle Kayak Series

Due to busy preparations our updates have been lacking, but the 2010 NZ Pyranha Tekapo Throwdown is set for action next Saturday and Sunday. We’ll be dropping updates over the coming week about the event from the full programme, prize details, competition formats, weather reports, and camping details.

Follow this link to find the meeting point for Saturday morning at 9am. We’ll be on ‘river right’ just upstream of the main road bridge.

This year we’ve decided to bring back the home-video competition, it was a crowd favourite a few years ago and we’re looking forward to what people have got hidden away this year.

To enter the video competition send a link to your video (or a DVD) to Dylan or Antz, we we will select the best entries for display and the overall ‘Crowd Approval Award’

Rules – 8 Minutes maximum, and that’s about it. Entries to be received by 22nd September. Email a link to your video to cumecmagazine@clear.net.nz or send an old fashioned disc to PO Box 229, Alexandra, 9340

Hi folks – It’s Pre Registration time!

Like last year we’re going to run pre-registration for the event with the bonus of a free T-shirt! Pre-registration is available until the 22nd of September. Any registrations after this date won’t qualify for a t-shirt.

To pre-register

Step 1 – Check you have enough money to pay the event registration of $50

Step 2 – Visit you online-banking site and transfer $50 to Amatuer Athletes Otago their account number is Westpac # 03 0883 0262791 00. Please place your name in the reference field.

Step 3 – Send an email through to eye4adventure@clear.net.nz with the following information;
Name, Address, Phone, Email, Age,
Division: Mens // Womens // Junior Men // Junior Women
T-Shirt size

Step 4 – We’ll send you a confirmation of your registration and some additional information on this years event.

Step 5 – Turn up on the 2nd & 3rd of October for a great weekend.

*Note – If you can’t do internet banking we can arrange alternate methods for payment of event entry. ** Note – We will have a full registration and waiver form to be signed on the day. If you are under 18 this will need to be signed by your parent or legal guardian.
